The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation on behalf of the Sierra Leone Association of Journalists (SLAJ) presented a plaque in appreciation to the US Embassy and USAID for their dedicated and substantial material support to SLAJ during and after the 2018 General Elections.

Dr. Alie Kabba made this presentation to the USAID Country Coordinator, Khadijat Mojidi at his Tower Hill office in Freetown following the Association’s Annual General meeting and 4th Media Awards held in Kenema last Saturday.
Receiving the award on behalf of the US Embassy and USAID, Khadijat Mojidi thanked the organisers (SLAJ) and the Minister for the recognition award and pledged their support to enhance good governance and freedom of the press.
