Sierra Leone’s Foreign Minister, Professor David John Francis has commended the Country’s energy Sector at the ECOWAS Delocalized Meeting of joint Committee on Energy and Mines organized at the Sierra Leone’s Foreign Service Academy, with theme: “Building the Regional Energy Market for a Just Energy Transition.”

He said the meeting was timely particularly when the world is moving towards achieving renewable energy transition.

Professor Francis added that, energy security is an urgency, if only the African Continent wants to gain sustainable development and attract more private sector developments.
