South African High Commissioner, Grace Jeanet Mason Pays Courtesy Call on Sierra Leone’s Foreign Minister

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Tower Hills, Freetown, 28th February, 2022. The South African High Commissioner to Ghana H.E Grace Jeanet Mason, former Deputy Chief of Protocol at the Department of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa has met with Sierra Leone’s Foreign Minister, Professor David John Francis on bilateral issues on Economic and Development Diplomacy.

Presenting the delegation to the Hon. Minister, H.E Grace Jeanet Mason expressed delight to the Government and people of Sierra Leone for the warm reception accorded her delegation. She said South Africa will collaborate with Sierra Leone for trade and Economic opportunities. And that, the delegation will engage other key Stakeholders and sectors on those opportunities.

Professor David John Francis in his statement positioned Sierra Leone as a land of opportunities. Referring to Sierra Leone as the most beautiful Country in the world, he said the Country’s potential for investment range from Education, Agriculture, Health, Tourism, Mines, Oil and gas and more.

The Hon. Minister asked for development and Economic Cooperation between Sierra Leone and South Africa.
“The Sierra Leone Investment board which is headed by His Excellency the President and Co-chaired by the Hon. Vice President is ready to support private sector development and promote trade and development in all sectors ” He Added.

Professor Francis diplomaticly send an invitation through the High Commissioner for south African Investors to tap into the rich Economic Opportunities of Sierra Leone, while assuring them of the Government’s fullest Support.
