The Political Director for Serbia pays courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation

The Political Director, Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, His Excellency, Ambassador Zoran Vujic; last Friday ( 16 Feb., 2018) paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Kaifala Marrah at his Tower Hill office in Freetown.

According to Ambassador Zoran Vujic, his visit to Sierra Leone was to enhance and strengthen the bilateral relationship between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Sierra Leone. He further informed the Minister that draft copies of the MOU on Technical Cooperation between both countries will be presented to the Minister of Foreign affairs and international Cooperation after the March 7, 2018 general elections.

Dr. Kaifala Marrah welcomed the Political Director for the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of Sierra Leone and assured him of the full support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs both at bilateral and multilateral levels.

Some of the issues discussed during the meeting focused on building the bilateral relations, technical cooperation in areas of common interest, as well as the people to people relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Sierra Leone.

Present at the ceremony were: the Director General and Ambassador at Large, Ambassador Kadijatu Bassir; the Deputy Director General for Operations, Mr. Paul S. Minah; the Acting Director for Europe, Mr. Mohamed Dumbuya; and the Director of Protocol of the Ministry.
