Ambassador Kakai Appeals for Satisfactory Land Laws

The Sierra Leone Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Francis Kakai has on Monday 8th October, 2018 appealed to the Law Reform Commission to review laws on land that will be satisfactory to everyone. He said land is very critical for development, therefore laws concerning it use must be drafted for the benefit and satisfaction of everyone in the country.

He made the statement while giving short Vote of Thanks during the visit of the World Federation of United Nations Association (wfuna) to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation at the conference, Tower Hill in Freetown. He expressed optimism that the benefits learnt from the presentation of the two Government institution will be used wisely.
The 16+ Annual Showcase is a collective undertaking to demonstrate SDG (Sustainable Development Goal) 16+ in action, what implementation looks like, best practices going forward hosted by member countries. The event started on Sunday 7-10 October, 2018 in Freetown.
